Saturday, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Saturday we did end up having spaghetti with meat sauce. I was able to use up a can of tomato sauce from the garage, turkey meat from the freezer and some pasta we have had around for a while. Joshua does not like whole wheat pasta so instead of tossing it I decided to mix a little whole wheat in with the regular for a few meals until I use it up.

we got some of the pasta made from brown rice and i like it. the texture is a bit different, but the taste is really good. it might be an alternative that can work when you wanna splurge on a staple. (it's damn expensive!)

Thanks, I will look into that. His issue is texture so I am not certain if that will help but I am willing to try. I can always use the same method to use the rice kind up as I am using now with the whole wheat.
